Footprints is our first PYP Unit. Our Reading/Language Arts/Social Studies classes are built around this unit. Footprints is an inquiry into the ways in which we discover and express ideas, feelings, nature, culture, beliefs and values, the ways in which we reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity.
We will read and discuss the Earliest Americans; comparing the origin stories of Native Americans with Scientific Theories.
The students will create a timeline of their lives, and will study myths, folktales, and legends.
